Does anyone in the lower mainland have a Blue Glory Bower in their garden? I saw this tropical bush in a local garden store in the form of a small tree. I would like to put it in my garden, but there's not a lot of info. on the internet about this plant in this zone. I want to know how well it does on the coast and does it need winter protection? Do you think it would work as a screen (need a 8-10 ft fast grower) to block a neighbour's deck all year, but don't have a lot of space for it (about 2ft. from a fence). Thanks.

It's not hardy here. Try doing a search for Clerodendrum ugandense.

If you would like a Clerodrendron try C. tricotimum (not certain on spelling)
