Hi, I was wondering if you could help ID this plant. It sprung up wild in my front yard in the space of 2 months.
Phytolacca. Edited: now that I realize you're in Australia, I'm thinking this would be Phytolacca octandra, and I've totally changed my reply. It's a weed, and you probably don't want it, but if the ID is right, it's "Not declared or considered noxious by any state government authorities" according to Weeds of Australia.
