Blooming hydrangea

    ...Or it should be.
    I have had it for three years, the second year I trimmed it pretty heavily, last year it had one flower, and this year this... Why won't it bloom ? It looks so healthy otherwise.
    I've read somewhere that hydrangeas' cultivation depends greatly on the type they are, and also how cold winters ?
    What type is mine ?
    Last two winters were cold.

    Looks like it is blooming a little!

    Probably the weather conditions got it pretty good or maybe the soil nutrients are too low for blooms. You might need to see about some sort of blooming flower feed in your local plant supply garden section of choice for it to help it bloom some more.

    You might also want to remove the moss and weeds from a good area around it to cut back on the nutrient loss to other plants that don't belong there. Feeding the weeds is never good.
