Hi, my aloe vera bloomd for the first time this past spring and now I'm wondering what I do with the blossom stem. Do I cut it off or leave it alone? If I am to cut it, where exactly would I do that? Also, this is a bird issue, but what is with this bossy territorial hummingbird that chases all the others from the feeders?

The stem will die, dry up, and eventually fall off. Or, you can cut it off as soon as the flowers are dead, if you are a neatnick. You might consider a badmitton racquet for the hummer.(only kidding) Vicious little guys, aren't they?
