I have a Dieffenbachia Mariane I believe and I noticed last week a shoot similar to the ones Peace Lilies have. I admired the shoot for about 2 days and it seemed it disappeared overnight. Is this normal? Also, that same morning I noticed it's absence I realized there were 2 more shoots although these weren't open. This was about Friday or Saturday of this past week. Now the smaller of the 2 shoots is opening to look like what Peace Lilies have. The larger one just looks like a very long pod of some sort. I hope none of this is confusing. My question is are the shoots normal? I have about 5 different Dieff's and this is the first time I've noticed this on any of them.

Well... if you are asking whether or not your Dieff might be blooming, the answer is yes. Like most other plants, they flower if given ideal treatment. Good work.
