Re: Japanese Maple or JM please - not the three-letter abbrev. My Bloodgood got the heck knocked out of it with a late frost and has hardly 25% of it's foliage! Might I expect later emergence of new leaves to fill bare limbs? It is a young tree (5 ft.) but otherwise healthy. region: SW Virginia any suggestions appreciated
is ok, this season (spring 2007)is "not normal"and some trees open the bud in this period ,my Sorbus cashimirana open one bud 3 days ago!!.You see the bud if are in good conditions (not dry)no problem.alex
