My professional landscaper planted a Bloodgood Maple in my yard in the spring of 2007. It did well. In the spring of 2008 its leafing was much fuller and also did well. This year, only about 20% of the tree leafed, one main branch and all of its branches. The rest of the tree branches have what looks like leaf buds but they have not leafed, and it has been about three weeks since the one main branch leafed. I am a new homeowner and new tree owner. Any suggestions? thanks

    Paul657,
If you look on some of the other posts about hardiness you'll see there are many of us in your zone who are experiencing the same thing. Rotten winter.
