Hi all became a member so i thought i would repost this hope thats ok

Hello all and thankyou for reading. I have a conservatory (sun room) at my house in New Hampshire USA (yes i am a Brit living here) and have many wonderful plants growing but on recently growing a golden hops plant it became infested whith spidermites..I cut it down to nothing (and treated it) but once again they must be jumping back on from another plant where they are not visible to me, One plant i have very near is a concord grapevine which has just started producing new leaves now i don't see any spiders on the leaves but i do see blobs (not cotton like) all along the vine stem almost like little plasic beads are they spidermite eggs or something different?
Thankyou so much for your help.
    Regards Melanie

Have a look at Clear round eggs? | UBC Botanical Garden Forums. Do your blobs look like the ones in the photos? As for the spider mites, have a look at my suggested treatment. Skip the part having to do with the toothbrush - the spray regiment still applies.

Yes they do indeed look exactly the same as the picture so are they sap as i know they are not ants on my grapevine.
The other matter of the mites on my hops, i think i may have to take all my plants out and spray them but cannot till the weather gets nicer here,Jerry Baker has some good sugestions of non pestiside treatments that i may try and use also.
    Thanks & Regards
    Mel
