    Hello friends,

I wanted to hear how everyone affected by the blizzard made out. Oddly enough, not one of my Japanese Maples was injured. However, I do have considerable damage to some of the oaks, pines, and more branches down than I care to mention...along with a looong spring clean-up.

Oh that is heartbreaking!! I'm so sorry. Maybe in the spring we can exchange info and visit each others gardens. It's always nice to make new friends with the same addiction for Japanese maples! :)

I had one large tree come down and it almost took out a 15' Trompenburg. Luckily I to to it and was able to break off the branches that had landed on the limbs of the tree and bent them. It is terrible when that happens. So sorry for your losses.

Well, we've had even more heavy wet snow here and this time a branch took out my little Sagara Nishiki! I'll be glad when this winter is over!
