We planted 9 emerald cedars in our yard a year ago and they were perfect until this spring when we noticed there were black patches near the base of the tree. Thinking this was mold, I have only watered them once a week though the black spots are still apparent after two months. Any ideas or suggestions?
Take a picture and post it if you can. It's very hard to help you out when we cannot see what you are talking about.
