Hi, Here's some photos of a black pine I dug up out of a nursery. It looks like it has good potential for a bonsai. One photo shows what I call the front with a thick base that is radically tapering. The other shows the side view showing a cut off stump of what used to be an 8' leader sticking out. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do with this guy? Any shaping tips? Are black pine hard to look after?
