Black Monakka Grapes

I have been growing red flame seedless and Thomson seedless grapes in eastern LA County in southern California and battling powdery mildew on my grapes, I am considering planting Black Monakka Grapes as a replacement. My question is the Black Monakka vine more resistant to disease?
