Black fungus on Winter Nellis pear

    I have a "Winter Nellis" pear seedling that has some kind of fungus can you help??? There is black fungus on the leaves?? Old growth and the new growth???

    I don't know enough to give useful advice about fungus... there might be other threads, though, in this forum with more information.

    Check the pear disease section in the Integrated Pest Management guide for pears via UC Davis.

    If you don't spot anything resembling it there, my advice is to send (or deliver) a sample to your local county extension office.
