I just saw this CBC article on a seed repository in Norway and thought it might be of interest to others: http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/environment/biodiversity.html
It seems activists focus on GM foods but my fear is the release of the genetic modifications into the natural gene pool. It's great we are trying to save our diversity in seeds but that will not help if we have released a dominant genetic modification into the wild through cross pollination.
