    Look for slugs and snails unless those do not occur there. Here you must control slugs around ligularias or these plants are liable to be spoiled.

    Looks to be a purpleleaf L. stenocephala etc. type. It being new you may not find there is much experience among gardeners with it.

    Oh it does sort of look like that leaf. Well I want to try it but it has sold out. Guess I'll have to wait until next year.

    Try to find it elsewhere before deciding you have to wait. Search cultivar name on internet, as a phrase and see what turns up. They were only offering tiny 2 1/2" pots anyway.

    Thanks Ron...I think I remember doing this at some point and only came up with this Wayside "only" offer. I will try again.
