Identification: Big leaved plant in a ditch at Whistler Creek

    The leaves are very big, almost 2 feet across.

    I didn't recognize it at first from your photos, which make it not look very horrible at all! But I saw it with the fruits at UBC Botanical Garden recently, in the Pacific Slope Garden. I was only able to capture it looking this creepy.
