Looking for suggestions of best rose, clematis and other climbers to cover my large, new, black-coloured, wooden pergola..it's over a walkway. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas. Total neophyte
The pergola is over a walkway and it is 8feet wide by 24 feet long by 10 feet tall. I have a jackmani clematis at one end but I'd really like to grow something like an evergreen clematis (c. armandii) and perhaps a New Dawn rose? Don't know how many I'd have to plant to get coverage as quickly as possible Thanks so much for your suggestions.
