berry vine unknown

when i was a child living in western colorado we had a nieghbor who had a vine that covered the whole north end of there barn . my mom and dad said it was ellderberry, we made pies and jelly from the clusters of berrys
and as i remember it looks like the same but i cant find any that grow in a vine like that one ,it was very nice and im trying to find the same . any ideas if it was ellderberry or something else? is there a ellderberry vine?

 

Elder is a shub, not a vine, so it was probably something else.

 

any ideas as to what may be somewhat the same but in a vine?
