Berberis morrisonensis? in Asian garden

Is this Berberis morrisonensis blooming so late in Asian garden? It doesn't suite description

Is it the one at the junction of Purdom and Farrer trails? I found a Berberis in flower there yesterday. The label was way at the back, though, and a real bear to get a look at: Berberis gyalaica
