I have a 6 foot gorgeous bell trumplet plant. During the last cold season a couple of months ago, all the flowers and leaves turned brown and fell off. At this time I have a bare tree (no leaves, no flowers and no sign of renewed growth). Any idea what should be done? Should I just wait and see if it will recover?

    Thanks,

    Cornelia

I'm not familiar with this common name, but assuming it's an outdoors plant, there's little you can do but wait.

Sounds like quite a few people's gardens in California were hit by the cold.

Probably a brugmansia. If there was hard frost there, that's what happened to it.
