    Hello
We made a trip to Sequoia two weeks ago OH MY GOD.
I am still just taken by that place. But what I would like is for someone to tell me what this small tree or bush is.

I believe Ron is correct. I confused it with this one I took last week at the Grand Canyon.

Thank You all for your effort. I took some seeds from the tree and I hope they will find New Mexico a good climate. I found the trees at around 3000 feet in the southern Sequoia Park area it was extra dry and 103 during the day. Further up the road maybe five miles it was 79 and beautiful deep green with lots of giants to shade you.
Thanks again I seem to always get the info I need here and people are very kind.

Notice that in addition to structural differences in the fruits the Fallugia also has quite different leaves from the Cercocarpus.
