My uncle has this shrub growing "wild" at the farthest reach of his property. Neither of us has been able to identify it in 3 years. I've just begun landscaping my own property and MUST feature it, it's so beautiful, but I can't put a name to it. I'm starting to lose sleep! Does anyone know it? Thanks for taking the time to help a novice out! -C

    Hi,

Sounds like a challenge! I imagine you didn't have any luck attaching your images - I've updated the How to Attach Images instructions, so that may be of some help to you.

    green thumbed, not e-thumbed!

I did think I had attached a photo, evidently it was too large, so I am trying again! Standby for beauty!

    Hi Sparta,
Maybe "snowgoose" or "minnesota snowflake" (double-flowered Philadelphus vars.) ??? Sure is pretty. "Standby for beauty" will be my mantra for the day. Thank you.

    That's It!!!!

Deutzia Scabra. I had never seen that name before. Thanks all for your responses! The only thing better than a blooming plant is another gardener!
