Please help me identify this beautiful purple flowered plant that is even now (late September) blooming on my back patio in tidewater Virginia. The hummingbirds, butterflies and bumblebees all liked it - but none of us know what to call it! What is this? Thank you.

Thank you so much! This is one of our favorite plants, and a neighbor is looking to get one too. We hope it will survive our Virginia winter.

I suggest you take cuttings as Duranta repens generally freezes to the
soil line here in Central Texas' zone 8b/9a Winters. 'Geisha Girl' is the variety BTW.
