We have this tree growing in our backyard near a creek bed. Your help identifying it is greatly appreciated.

One of the many species of deciduous azaleas native to eastern North America. I saw another recent discussion where the conclusion was Rhododendron canescens.

Thanks Ron. I wouldnt have guess azalea. Its in a rather overgrown area of tall pines. I'd like to grow one nearer our house. Any idea if it propagates easily?
