    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for a bearss seedless lime tree to start producing fruit? I got my little tree at the beginning of last year and although a few limes appeared, they were small.

Also, do yellow leaves mean I'm giving my tree too much water?

    Thanks for any help!

I'm not an expert but my bears produced at 2years old. and seems to have 2 crops a year. you said you had a few small limes. did they mature and ripen or did the tree drop them? Most citrus shed older leaves(i think 1.5-2year aged leaves) but yellowing usually is a nutrient deficiency. It is easy to to over water citrus. Make sure it's in a fast draining medium and dries out about 3" below the surface before watering. And then give it a good full soak.

Thanks, Luke. The tree didn't drop the limes... I pulled them off when they began to turn yellow. I think that's the sign of maturity. We've had a lot of rain lately so I think the tree has way too much water. I'll also try giving them fertilizer again. Thanks!
