Hello. I have a 2 to 3 year old Baobab tree. This year, when the leaves came in, they came in very wrinkled. I'm attaching a photo. I'm wondering if there is a dormant spray that I need to be using during winter, or if this is a nutrient issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm in San Diego California. Thank you all in advance! Robert
Have you noticed any insect infestations? Wrinkled leaves can sometimes be a sign of uneven moisture issues. Could this be the cause of your problem?
I've looked up close and personal and see no signs of bug infestation at all. I'm not sure what you mean by uneven moisture issues. I water every couple of days....when the soil gets dry. I know they don't like water, so I try not to overwater.
I enjoyed looking at come trees when I was down near San Diego about 3 years ago. Are there any well established Baobab trees in that city?
