Question for all. I have recently purchased 3 Musa. The ground here (Chilliwack) is HARD. As in when I initially put in the fence I used a jackhammer to dig because it was about the only way. LMAO. I guess the point here is the soil does not drain well, if at all. If I build a well insulated raised bed and put effort into additional insulation how do you think they will fare?
We're presumably a zone or two warmer at UBC, our plants (when we've had them) go indoors over the winter.
