I have 5 oak barrels where I hope to plant bamboo. I want to place them against a fence and grow them as tall & as quickly as possible to screen out the horrible building beside me. Which varieties (i) grow quickly (2) are thick enough to offer a screen (3) grow wide enough to touch the bamboo plant to the left and the right? I'm able to put the barrels in a row, spaced any distance from each other. Many thanks, Marian
