    Greetings -

I am trying to find a supplier for a nifty plant support I saw last year. It is round, came in 2 different diameters, made out of green plastic and "rode" up (or down) a bamboo stick as the plant grew.

I am at a loss to describe it - the person described that you insert/drive a bamboo pole into the center (or where possible) of the plant (perennial). The plastic circle is then placed onto the bamboo stick, sliding down to the level of the leafing. The center of the plastic circle is tight, but expandable, allowing the ring to stay firmly on the stake, also allowing you to pull the ring up with the foliage as the plant grows.

I am not crazy - perhaps my explanation is! Has anyone seen these supports? Used them? Can you tell me how to find them? Thanks!!!!

I think what you may be looking for is called a "Grow Spiral" or "Modular Stem Support". Available at Lee Valley Tools. Shelley
