I am looking for the name and a place to purchase a plant that looks bamboo-like, but it is completely leafless. I've seen it in landscapes in California, growing near water features. It has a stalk like a bamboo with a dark head. It grows in clumps with 20 - 30 stems and is about 4' tall. (It may grow differently....this is how I've seen it.)

    Thanks for your help

Try pond plant specialists like Oasis Water Gardens if you can't find it at a big independent garden center like Swanson's or Sky.
