I live in Buckingham Quebec 50 km from Ottawa. We have a small vegetable garden and have had some success in growing vegetables(tomatoes, carrots, pole beans, etc, etc).
Every year I try to enrich the soil with 10 to 15 25litre bags of soil.I have a small roto tiller and this helps to mix it up.I also use the spray MIRACLE-GRO during the season to help. There are available bags of cow, sheep manure and shrimp compost.
This year I would like to add some of these to my garden but do not know which ones I should use or maybe a mix of them?????
I should point out that I am not going to try and get any stuff that is not bagged like a lot of people suggest. There are farms around here but being 65 years old I do not want a load of well rotted manure brought to my backyard and me having to shovel it.
Bagged stuff is all I wil use.
Any recommandations or advice in this area would be greatly appreciated.......

    Phil in Buckingham
