My baby Sequoia tree is 14 inches tall. I want to plant on a hill that has a sheet of sandstone under different amounts of soil on top;the average depth of soil is 12 to 24 inches. I have been successful planting fir and arbutus trees on this hill for the last eight years. Do you think my Sequoia will be successful there as well?

Might be able to make do, be sure to plan on large eventual size.
