i am planning on keeping this plant indoors mainly and moving it outside in the summer times. i don't want the tree to get hughe, but i do enjoy watching it grow.

ive read that it should be cut back, and also i've read that it should grow natural and no cutting is required.

i've attached some pics of the tree so far, its about a foot tall with a main set of leaves on the top and a single leave about 3 inces down from that. also there are tiny leaf sprouts along the stem, that will be leaves at some point im guessing.

pruning will make the tree product more branches and leaves right?

if it is best to cut it back, where should i do it? im not sure if i should just lop the top off, and im not sure what kind of damage can be done from pruning.

    hope the pic helps guys!

thanks in advance for you knowledge.
