Hi everyone, I'm new :) I'm growing an avocado. I put the pit in a glass of water and when the roots started to come out they got covered in little "bubbles" that got bigger now (I attached a picture). A smaller plant in the next glass got them too now. Is it a parasite? What should I do? Thanks :)
My first plant didn't have them... This one did from the start. But a few days ago they spread to the newest one and that's when I thought something might be wrong. How can I make sure they're roots and not a parasite of some sort? I did a google search, but couldn't find anyhting. Do you know if there are any in-depth resources about avocados? All I can find is generic info, so I'm really glad to have found this forum.
Ok, so I asked an expert on allexperts.com and they told me those bumps are harmless nodules, so the plants are fine! I thought I'd post this update so that if anyone ever gets here because of the same issue they can know it's nothing to worry about :) Wishing everyone a great day
