I have an avocado plant that I grew from a pit. It is about 85 cm from soil to top leaf and had a good growth spurt early in the summer. It stays inside all year round in a south facing window. I went out of town for a month and so the watering pattern changed. My thinking was to let it dry out between watering but that might not have been the case while I was away.
Recently the topmost leaves are really light green and the rest of the leaves are browning at the edges and starting to die off. It seems to be travelling up to the new leaves as well. I am wondering if it's too much water, not enough water or not enough minerals? maybe it needs fertilizer?
I have looked on the web and found many answers, I just am not sure which one to follow
    thanks for any info!
