Hi I live in Umea, a deep frozen part of Sweden However my dad lives in Skåne, a peculiar area because it has a very even climate, warm winters and not killer-hot summers. Many people have planted trees in Skåne which should not be able to survive anywhere near that far north. I've decided to plant some exotic plants in my dad's garden. I'll start up small and if that works I will go bigger and bigger. My main concern is root frost. I've been looking everywhere for an automatic heating system/bad/hose to put into the ground under the plant that will turn on when the frost goes deep, and only put out enough heat to keep the deep ground from freezing. I've found nothing. Please help!
