At Singapore Zoo

    I don't remember if the attached was a tree or a very large liana. Seen at the Singapore Zoo. Any help appreciated.

    Flower appears to indicate pea family.

    Yes - it was definitely Fabaceae (Papilionaceae)

    I see there's something called Baphia nitida that's Fabaceae with simple leaves and single flowers. And several other Baphia species that I didn't check out.

    Presumably - although perhaps not necessarily - called nitida because of the shining leaves; shrub also looks like a honeysuckle - and there is a honeysuckle in cultivation called Lonicera nitida.
