    Help appreciated. Problem with Family. Obviously should be Orchedaceae.

    Dactylorhiza? It's looking pretty close to D. maculata ssp. fuchsii.

    Iorax, Thanks for the ID. I have a book of European and N. African Orchids with photographs but I find it quite difficult to use.

    It's where I went to check which species are native in your area, and ultimately it led me to the ID. I found it much easier to use than most of the (many) books I have on orchids.

    Iorax, Have just visited the GIROS site. The genus, sp.and ssp. which you found seem to be practically the same. Thanks.
