I would love to know what kind of Sempervivum this is. It is cool to see the change in color. picture #1 2006-11-13 picture #2 2006-12-31 picture #3 2007-02-16 picture #4 2007-03-23
Hi Bbunker, Please let me know what your secret is with your thriving succulents. I have a few sempervivum, echeveria, hawthoria, senecio, aeonium, and euphorbia. I didn't realize they grew that fast. But I'm tempted to run out and get more pots, dirt and stones and go to town on them. Thanks for the great pics!
Up until I started growing succulents, I have always had a brown thumb. I totally enjoy watching them grow. Maybe they like getting their pictures taken, so they always try to look their best. (And I definitely take a lot of photos.) As far as what my secret is to growing succulents, well, it is even a secret to me. I think it is really just dumb luck on my part, great weather, and a love of succulents that is making them grow. By the way that sempervivum is starting to bloom, so it is really going to be changing in looks. This makes me happy and sad at the same time. Because, I know after it blooms, that part of the plant will die. So I will enjoy the beautiful show it is going to put on while it lasts.
