While out quadding in the back country we came across these strange looking red plants that looked kind of like asparagus. It is the first time we have seen anything like them and they only seem to grow in one particular area. Dont know whether they have suddenly popped up in this spot because of our unusual heavy rains or what but nonetheless would like to find out what the heck kind of plant they are. Please if anyone can help identify them it would be greatly appreciated. A big thank you in advance for any assistance in this regard :-)
