    SOLVED: Asparagus fern + Succulent?

Hi! I've had this beautiful plant for several years, which I believe to be an asparagus fern, but it does not look like any that I've seen elsewhere. Is it, perhaps, a variety? It has much thinner needles than the common asparagus fern, and I've never seen it flower.

I also have an interesting plant growing outside my house. It appears to be a succulent, and has bright yellow flowers.

The first plant is Asparagus retrofractus, Ming Fern.
