I received some seeds from a friend from the Asclepia plant.I dont know the fully name of the plant, it has pink flowers.
I would like to know how to seed these. Do I seed them outside where they are to grow or do I seed them in trays. How deep, what temperature. What time of year?
    Thank you for your help.

Asclepias is the genus milkweed.l They tend to do well in hot summers, and thrive on poor soil. They are not that great as a rule in our cool lower mainland climate.
Just a note of caution before you sow the seed!
Try starting the seed now, inside. Sow on fine soil , cover lightly , place in a clean poly bag in indirect light. Bottom heat helps germination.

    Good growing!

    Hello

I work with monarch butterflies and I recently posted a question on the forum about the presence Asclepias asperula in Canada.

Can you and/or your friend, please, tell me if you have a report of Asclepias asperula in Canada?

    Thanks
