I love the "250,000 to 750,000 cherry blossoms line the streets and parks of Victoria", counting every flower. That seems a little strange.
Just for the record, the photo with the caption "Cherry blossoms in Vancouver, BC, Canada" are plums.
I forgot about the Victoria map. They just have four colours, for blooming times, with two of the colours used for trees that are not cherries. It's nice to be able to get to it from the linked article.
