    Hello Budding Botanists...
I am trying to grow wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) to grow around the chookhouse to prevent mites. I bought some seeds off ebay and I prepared my sifted soil mix from native plant seed raising mix and peat moss.
I have my plants in a very small fishtank to maintain humidity. The seedlings you see in the picture are almost 2 months old now. They have not grown more than an inch. My question is are these Artemisia absinthium seedlings or have i been duped.

If they are the proper seedlings is there something I am doing wrong. I leave the lid on the tank for humidity. I also position them in a window that receives sunlight for part of the day. The current temperature is around 30 degrees C during the day and drops to around 10 Deg C at night. They were germinated around 15 deg C in late winter. I have also taken them out of the tank and let the soil dry until they need a drink (ie not to wilting point though).

If they are wormwood i would like to know how to get them to the next level...eg more than 4 leaves.. Thankyou

Well, they don't look like what I would expect. But, if you are willing to sacrifice one, crush it and smell it. If it isn't a strong sage-like scent, then these probably aren't those.

Also, I expect the high humidity is not required for germination / seedling growth. Habitat and cultivation, via Wikipedia:
