Hi Maples i am a naturalist a forester by proffession intrested in plats and all their activitries we grow temperate fruita over here at Arshi Orchards Kashmir India . Hi Arwadoo, Nice to hear from Kashmir! Are you in a forested area? It would be very nice to live among species like Cedrus deodara, Abies pindrow, Picea smithiana, Pinus gerardiana, Pinus wallichiana, etc. What maples do you have in your area?
Hi Micheal The forested areas with species you have mentioned except Pinus gerardiana are located at about 6 miles from my residence located in srinagar Kashmir India. These species as you known shun the concrete forests of the cities, however I have Cedrus deodara , Pinus wallichiana , Abies pindrow in my lawn to be my company. The species of maples in the valley of kashmir are Acer pictum, Acer caesium. Hope you live in a froest too with species composition closely related to urs. ARW
