I made the mistake of buying a palm from Home depot and it is infested with centipedes. Of course it is slowly dying, but it is also trying to put out new growth. What I would like to do is cut the growth that is still doing relatively well, re - root it and plant in fresh soil. Can I do this? What would be the best way?

I'd return the palm for a new un-infested palm or a refund. Perhaps mention that they should check their remaining stock. You can't take cuttings from a palm and root it.

    Cheers, LPN.
