    hi,
about 3 months ago i bought an areca palm. I have this plant in my house. The palm is doing well but since i bought it it has a little brown-black spots on all trunks . I posted some photos so you can help me. These spots are on all the new trunks also. Those spots goes away if i rub them. Are they normal or the trunks must have a clean green color without any spots on them? What it can be and what i must to do?

Since they require bright light make sure it's getting enough sun.
The spots are normal, so to make them less noticeable I'd recommend
a complete fertilizer with trace elements for palms. Keep an eye out
for Spider Mitesas Areca is very susceptible to them.
