I always thought these were hostas, but hostas all around have already bloomed and these plants show not signal of doing it. What are they? (there is some damage due to hail).
Yes, they are definitely Hostas. They look exceedingly healthy. Possibly they are too congested to flower. Should be signs of flower stalks by now. The one in pic 2 , looks very similar to one we grow Hosta Devon Green. Our one has been in for several years, yet is still a small clump. Yours must have been in the same spot for ages to get that enormous!!! Praps lift and divide them next spring, give them more space. The deeper the shade the fewer the flowers.Hope this helps.
