I bought two plants about a year ago, that both looked the same and had the same labels, Kinnikinnick, or Vancouver Jadeberry. One blooms, and grows upright with a few stems creeping along the ground. The other one hugs the ground and doesn't bloom. Is this the same plant?

Same species, anyway. 'Vancouver Jade' is a vegetatively propagated cultivar from UBC Botanical Garden.

They both look like Arctostaphylos. The one on the right looks like A. uva ursi, but the one on the left may be a different species - the leaves are long and thin and not as rounded as the one on the right. Both should bloom though.
