I have just moved to the Seymour area of North Vancouver and have inherited an Arbutus tree that's approx 20 years old. Over the winter the leaves in the crown of the tree have been going black and dying. The leaves that are still green have lots of black spots, also a few of them appear to have a silver thread like pattern on the top side of the leaf. How can I save the tree?
